Playing Catch-up

I don't really know where to jump back in on this whole blogging thing. In the two years since I regularly posted, all of my babies have started school and I have been working part-time at our church. So there's been a lot going on. Seems like we're always busy. And my babies are growing so fast!

I'm still a crazy couponer. In fact, I'm practically a veteran now considering all the new couponers that came after the infamous TV show. I won't be doing regular coupon matchups, but I'll probably be sharing some of my shopping trips and hot deals.

Part of working my household budget is meal planning and cooking based on what I have stockpiled and what's on sale. I hope to share my meal plans and recipes.

I've also started making "Bento" style lunches for the kids to take to school. I use reusable containers. I try to make their lunches fun, easy to eat, healthy, full of variety, and frugal. I've really enjoyed this style of lunch-packing. I've saved a lot of money by doing this as well.

By the way, the pictures posted on the header and sidebar were our first professional family portraits. Aren't the FABULOUS?!?! I love them! Emily Tate Photography did the pictures, and I (of course) highly recommend her. My kids really responded to her, and she was fun & flexible.
