In the Middle of my Little Strep, I Realize How Big I'm Blessed

I started feeling kinda yucky on Tuesday, thought I was coming down with a cold. It got worse as the day progressed yesterday. When I woke this morning, my throat was nearly closed and felt like it had gone through a shredder. I fixed the boys' lunches, got them ready and off to school, and then made a doctor's appointment.

I liked the nurse until she shoved a giant Q-tip down my throat AND up my nose (not the same Q-tip...ew). Strep test was positive. Got a booty shot. Came home to sit on the couch the rest of the day.

Realized that I forgot to give the boys a spoon for the pudding, and found out when they got home that I had SWITCHED their lunches! Doh! Thank the Lord for sweet teachers that helped sort it all out.

My awesome hubs took care of me and everybody else today. I had homemade seriously delicioso potato soup and anything else my little heart desired. He helped the babies with homework, fed them dinner, washed them, and put them to bed.

The boys even brought me flowers on the way home from school. :)

I'm so blessed.
