Mom & Son's Rodeo

My church has the most AMAZING preschool department. Notice I didn't say "nursery". These children are not babysat while at church. They are taught about Jesus and the bible. They are encouraged to be creative. They are loved.

The director of the preschool program is Ms. Dianne--and she is truly a woman of God! You know the Fruits of the Spirit? Love, Joy, Peace, Patience, Kindness, Goodness, Faithfulness, Gentleness, and Self-Control: She's got 'em all.

Going above and beyond, the preschool ministry hosts two springtime events: a Father/Daughter Tea Party and a Mom & Son's Rodeo.

I first went to the M&S Rodeo in 2007 with Tristan. Colton was a baby and stayed with Memaw. It was such a delightful day with my Baby Love:

Delightful right up until I tripped and fell while holding him. I landed on top of him on the asphalt. His poor little head was swollen and bleeding. Not to mention I am now "The girl that fell." Great way to end the day!

I was unable to attend last year because of this:

This year, I was able to go with BOTH of my sweet boys!
