My Tristan Man is learning how to read! It's really incredible to see the transformation he is going through right now. He's such a big boy, but he's still My Baby Love!
He's known his alphabet for a LONG time, but only recently have we taught him about the sounds that go with the letters. He is fascinated! He asks me questions all day long and he's really figured out how to put the sounds together.
We were eating out the other night and he read his first words unassisted and unprompted!
"ON TAP" he says.
You can guess what was "on tap". Oh, my!
He'll love that when he's a teenager and we tell him his first reading experience was associated with Miller Lite! LOL!

I know what an amazing feeling it is. Caleb has been reading for over 6 months and every time we sit down with a book, I am in awe. He can read "Hop on Pop" and "Are you my Mother" all by himself. He is reading stage 1 readers with only a little help. It only gets better :) Congrats!!
haha! too funny! glad he's learning, though, right?
i'm gonna go home to visit my parents thursday night b/c there's no school on friday. i'll probably leave at lunch after i pick up the boys. . . . so i won't be able to come to the playdate. . . again :(
